Catalonia Tours Travel Hints & Tips - Booking Tours in Barcelona

We recommend that you should always take out proper travel and medical insurance before embarking on your holiday.
In the summer come prepared with sun cream, hats, sun glasses, water and a sensible pair of walking shoes.
If you plan on using a credit card then bring with you a valid form of ID, such as a passport. Shops will not accept credit cards without one.
On our walking tours take precautions with your valuables. Cameras securely fasten, wallets and purses hidden from view.
If you have any special requests let us know and we can build it into the tour.
Always keep your passport in safe place. Make a copy which you can use in case of emergencies.
Watch out for the “Tax Free Shopping” signs in shops. If you live outside the EU you can recover the IVA when you spend 90 euros or more. The shops will provide the necessary forms and these are handed in at Barcelona Airport Bureau de Change.
If you have young children travelling in your group and require safety seat let us know at when booking your tour.
Restaurants open for lunch between 1.00pm and 1.30pm. Dinner usually around 9.00pm so it is worth booking a table otherwise you might have to wait until 11pm before a table becomes free.
